This role showed me the true importance of continuing education, which has remained a core value for me today
Trained in client service duties and often covered our reception team, eventually leading to regular shifts as a receptionist in between hires.
Built solid and trust oriented relationships with clients and patients, comfortable with clients in all emotional states and able to communicate appropriately.
With monthly staff meetings, we’d gather together to share or concerns or inquiries and made sure that everyone was heard
My main duties were to assist the doctor seeing appointments as well as helping technicians in our treatment area with vaccines, treatments, and diagnostics

Additional Information
In my spare time I enjoy cooking, hiking with my family, and spending time with our beloved cat Patch - a rescue from my first job. While I love dogs, I currently have none of my own as it allows me to offer pet sitting services more comfortably. My ultimate goal is to become a leader in my field - whether in management or corporate. I strongly believe there is much work to be done in our field to improve the lives of our team as well as our patients, and hope to one day be able to attribute to the wellbeing of veterinary professionals in the future.
