  • Worked on multiple different kinds of John Deere tractors with many different attachments including mowers (regular and batwing) tillers, plows, sprayers, and hay bale haulers.
  • Fed, watered, and kept care of two horses. I also worked them and tried to maintain a good riding schedule on them.
  • Drove and maintained motorized equipment such as lawn mowers, UTVs, ATVs, and trucks.
  • Used many different types of power tools such as drills, augers, impact drivers, chainsaws, and sprayers.
  • Worked with different kinds of hand tools such as picks, wrenches, shovels, axes, hammers, trimmers, and blades.

  • Worked on horseback along side trainers. I warmed up the horses for them as well as taught horseback riding lessons.
  • General ranch maintenance around the property. Fence work, mowing, debris cleanup, dragging arenas, and other such jobs were all a part of my position.
  • I had the responsibility of training the new hands on the property. This was essential to keeping the area safe and the ensure the work we did stayed efficient.
