I've been a life-long resident of South Charleston, WV. I attended both SC High School, WVU University, and currently I am enrolled in the Master's of Public Administration Program at West Virginia State University.
I try to carry myself in my tasks with confidence and enough comfort to be a pleasant person to talk to, with a calming personality that can handle changes in environment fairly well. I try my best to fill the mold to be a foundational member of any team.
Aided the South Charleston City Manager, Rick Atkinson, with his tasks, including the filing of documentation, mailing out of City business-related mail and packages, filing BnO bills and returns, reviewing documents for publishing, contacting and receiving calls and inquiries from citizens, producing an up-to-date sewer/sewerline map, and other minor tasks needed by the municipal administration.
Volunteered to be a camp instructor for the West Virginia American Legion Boys' State program; the majority of work consisted of instruction for the attendees, and other managerial tasks included in running a week-long summer camp.
Worked as a team member for Caring Transitions in between internships, mostly I was involved in customer interactions with estate sales and other instances with the transfer of property.
Served in the WV National Guard as both a 13B (Cannon Crewmember) and as a 09R (Officer Cadet), and learned many interpersonal skills as well as communication techniques.
Assisted the PEIA Legal team in both filing of legal data, constructing legal portfolios on incident cases, categorizing insurance documentation, conducting background checks on both employees and plaintiffs, and aiding in everyday intern tasks.
