A former AP Diploma recipient from one of the most prestigious high schools in Florida, and now current computer engineering student at the University of Central Florida's Burnett Honors College. As a Burnett Honors College scholar, I'm committed to academic excellence and innovation, constantly seeking to expand my knowledge and skills in coding and hardware design, expanding on previous knowledge in several coding languages, 3D CAD design, and circuit design. Looking ahead, I'm excited about opportunities for internships and research related to fields I may end up with a career in.
For a project in my senior year of high school I both designed and built my own electric go-kart. This project involved myself first learning how to design and machine custom parts as well as model components I had purchased in Solidworks 3D CAD software. I then brought my model to life by building the go-kart out of steel tubes and parts that I built with a CNC machine. This project taught me many important skills such as project design, 3D modeling, how to machine parts, and welding.
