This program is a two week summer camp that aims to give individuals with disabilities, from the ages of 18 to 80, a real college experience. My responsibilities under this title include:

  • Overseeing, organizing and coordinating all events for the New visions program at Onondaga Community college
  • Reviewing and implementing the ISPs of all students, as well as communicating these supports to all staff.
  • Assist teachers and monitors in efficiently communicating with the students and appropriately reacting to their behaviors
  • Communicate with several departments of the college in order to obtain the necessary resources for the students and staff (custodial, IT, food service, etc.)
  • Held multiple titles in this organization since July of 2014.

Behavior Support Specialist

  • Delivered evidence-based behavior curricula to students while maintaining high levels of behavioral and academic expectations for students.
