As a Talent Acquisition Manager at Simplify Inventions, I have more than 8 years of experience in the recruiting industry. I have experience in staffing and corporate recruiting, along with experience working for public and private companies. I design, develop, and implement strategies and programs to attract, source, hire, and retain top talent for Simplify Inventions. Simplify Inventions is the parent company to 18 other companies and I oversee Talent Acquisition and HR for all 18 companies. I oversee the implementation of new sourcing methods, such as ATS, and recommend ways to improve employer branding. I also keep track of recruiting metrics, such as time-to-fill, turnover, and retention, and manage external and internal career site portals. • Work collaboratively to identify and implement the best strategies and processes in the following key areas: talent acquisition and management, leadership development, succession planning, employee relations, rewards and recognition, change management, safety/workers compensation, and operational excellence
• Advise, coach and create resources for Managers on interviewing and selection processes.
• Support Department Managers in assessing the required competencies and help carry out required training and development activities to meet determined needs within the company
• Facilitate issue resolution between employees and managers, as required.
• Perform employee and labor relations duties, including grievance procedures, contract interpretation, and local contract negotiations.
• Coordinate staffing activities (including recruiting, selections, and placement) for the location including both salaried and hourly positions.
• Partners with community marketing leaders to managed virtual and in-person career events to increase candidate pool
• Ensures compliance with established recruitment and hiring procedures, including Human Resources and EEO/Diversity policies
