  • Assemble, test and repair heat flux transducers, heat flux sensors and thermocouples for mission-critical applications in the Aerospace, Defense, Space, and Industrial markets. 50% of my work is done under a microscope working with parts sometimes smaller than the naked eye can see. Various assembly duties consist of potting, capsulating connections of wires with various epoxies, I assemble various units per drawing or blueprint. Tools used are crimpers, Teflon wire strippers soldering iron, plasma arc welder, resistance welder, multi meter, and microscope. i use precision measuring tools like micrometers and calipers. i work with wire sometimes as small as .001. I also braze units together using a silver soldering method. I can read engineering drawings due to my time pursuing a machine tool tech degree.
