Over the past nine months at Epp, I have advanced from an apprentice to a senior journeyman in foundation repair. My progression has been marked by increased responsibilities and a leadership role as my foreman's second-in-command.

My strong work ethic and communication skills have been important in completing projects on schedule while achieving high levels of customer satisfaction. One area I have grown in is my ability to communicate with customers so they are well aware of everything that is going on at all times. I have also been able to reassure customers that any concerns they may have will be solved to their specific needs. I have met with many satisfied customers who have had positive things to say about how well I maintain their homes and represent the company well. I have also talked with a lot of customers who were not happy at first, but after speaking with them we were able to come up with solutions to their problems and resolve any doubts they might have had.
Kremer Concrete was a concrete flatwork company run by two of my older brothers, and I was the first person to join the team after I finished my first year of college. Given that the whole company was run by three people I had to learn every skill and perform every task on any given job.

This job was physically and mentally demanding, and helped me to really grow in my communication skills, work ethic, and customer service skills. With a brand new and small company, time efficiency is the most important focus. I had to learn to balance a busy work schedule at multiple job site locations while keeping multiple customers happy. On top of that I had to meet with potential customers on sales calls at any given time of day. This fast paced work environment helped me to create good habits of staying on top of my work and communicating, as well as teaching me the importance of being a self motivated and driven individual.
