  • Key Responsibilities:
  • 1. Inventory Management Monitor and maintain inventory levels of club supplies, retail items, and cleaning products. Conduct regular audits to track stock and place orders as needed. Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory to minimize waste and loss.
  • 2. Client Relations & Member Experience Provide outstanding customer service by addressing member concerns, feedback, and inquiries promptly. Assist in resolving membership issues, including billing disputes and account updates. Promote a welcoming, non-intimidating environment in line with Planet Fitness's Judgement Free Zone philosophy. Support membership sales and retention initiatives.
  • 3. Employee Management & Development Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising front desk staff, trainers, and maintenance personnel. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to enhance team productivity. Foster a positive work culture by recognizing employee achievements and addressing performance issues.
  • 4. Scheduling & Payroll Create and manage employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours. Approve timecards, process payroll, and monitor labor costs to stay within budget. Handle shift swaps, call-outs, and overtime approvals as needed.
  • 5. Administrative & Technology Duties Utilize Microsoft Excel to track club metrics, inventory, and financial reports. Maintain and update documents using SharePoint for company-wide collaboration. Conduct virtual meetings and communicate with corporate teams via Microsoft Teams. Assist in preparing monthly reports on club performance, membership trends, and operational efficiency.
  • 6. Facility Maintenance & Safety Compliance Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of equipment, locker rooms, and common areas. Coordinate repairs with vendors and ensure all equipment meets safety standards. Conduct routine inspections to uphold Planet Fitness's brand standards and operational policies.
  • 7. Financial & Operational Support Assist in budget management, including controlling expenses and optimizing revenue. Support the General Manager in implementing corporate initiatives and promotions. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
