• Designated as Polk County Auditor-Treasurer, Recorder, Chief Deputy Assessor, Election Administrator, Deputy Clerk of the County Board of Commissioners, DNR Agent, and Driver's License Agent and Motor Vehicle Deputy Registrar.
• Administer, plan, direct, and supervise the activities and operations of the Polk County Taxpayer Service Center (TPSC), consisting of the following divisions: Assessment Services, Property Records, Recording, Vital Statistics, Licensing, and Elections.
• Hire, train, manage and develop teams for each division comprised of a total of 23 employees across the divisions. Provide coaching and mentorship, conduct performance evaluations, and establish inclusive work cultures.
• Develop and administer policies for each specific division as well as policies encompassing the entire TPSC.
• Budget for a total of 10 department and committee areas. Including forecasting revenues and expenditures and managing grants while maintaining a financially responsible and efficient budget for each area.
• Organize, coordinate, manage, and evaluate the overall operation of the TPSC through planning, establishing, and maintaining services, staff assignments, and proper workflows.
• Provide oversight and direct the the annual valuation of real estate parcels including the County Board of Equalization and negotiating with attorneys to resolve Tax Court petitions.
• Evaluate and interpret laws passed by the Minnesota State Legislature to develop and implement compliant processes and procedures to ensure compliance.
• As designated County Auditor-Treasurer, direct and oversee all aspects of property taxes, including maintaining property ownership, jurisdictional levies, completion and delivery of property tax statements, and collection of property taxes and fees.

• Manage real estate tax system including data collection, entry, and verification. Ensuring the tax software is up-to-date, attend weekly meetings with tax software technical team to address any issues, and monthly meetings with Tax Advisory Committee to address larger issues with tax software.
• Develop Truth-in-Taxation notices, property tax statements, permanent record tax books and reporting for Property Records Information System of Minnesota (PRISM).
• Manage Taxpayer Service Center (TPSC) webpages while working in conjunction with IS Department, serving as IS Liaison for the TPSC.
• Assist Director in administering, planing, directing, and supervising the activities and operations of the Polk County Taxpayer Service Center (TPSC), consisting of the following divisions: Assessment Services, Property Records, Recording, Vital Statistics, Licensing, and Elections.

Appraise real estate property and assign value and classification following standards set by Minnesota Statute and guided by the Minnesota Board of Assessors to ensure a fair and equitable assessment of all property for ad valorem taxes.

• Licensed as Certified Minnesota Assessor with income property qualification (CMA-Income Qualified) from 2012 - 2022. Minnesota Assessor license number 3481.
• Represent Assessor's Office during Local Board of Appeals and Equalization meetings and County Board of Appeals meeting.
• Research, prepare, and testify, when needed, for Tax Court cases involving disputed assessed values and classifications.
