- Performed additional advanced procedures such as IVAD access, finger thoracostomy, needle decompression, surgical cricothyrotomy, needle cricothyrotomy, use of paralytic and sedation medications as well as other controlled substances, and the delayed sequence intubation protocol, video assisted and direct orotracheal intubation, nasogastric/orogastric tube placement, transcutaneous cardiac pacing, and central line access.
