Hi, I'm Samuel Podgorny (Pod-gor-knee), and my passion for music has been a constant in my life. I embarked on private guitar lessons at the age of 8 for little bit, sparking an addiction to the captivating world of sounds and their emotional impact. Now, I'm an up and coming audio engineer with strengths in recording, editing and mixing. Articulate communicator with strong organization skills for many events or projects that involve live and recorded audio. For many years I've worked with a team in my local church to create the Sunday experience, now I want to take my skills to the next level. Would love to work with you!

  • I have been recording, mix, and mastering music of people in my own community.
  • I use Logic Pro X or Protools depending on the session, an SM7B as my mic of choice, a Scarlett 18i8 for my production.
  • I incorporate Waves plug-ins into my workflow such as waves tune, vocal rider, and SSL E chanel strip
  • I master via izotope ozone 11 to achieve professional masters (One of the best purchases I made)
  • I have have experience in using Waves plugins for my vocal/instrument chains
  • I would charge $25 an hour for recording and $25 to mix and master.

  • I use a Yamaha QL5 and Dante audio network to mix live sound, send a live broadcast mix, and multitrack record Sunday Church Services and other events

  • I started playing acoustic guitar at my church when I was about 14, then I transitioned to Electric guitar When I was about 15 years old and still do to this day (I am now 20 years old)
  • Since then, I have picked up: singing around 16-17, singing Tenor for our church choir, bass guitar, the basics of piano, and dabbled into drums and hopefully I will get better at both drums and piano so I can effectively play live
