Samuel Renaud

I am a dedicated and detail-oriented Chemical Engineering student entering my fourth year of a Bachelor’s program, with three years of hands-on internship experience in Supply Chain Engineering and Manufacturing at IBM. I have proven my ability to apply engineering principles to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure quality control. I am adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, leveraging analytical skills to solve complex problems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. I am eager to contribute technical expertise and innovative solutions in a dynamic engineering environment.

I have a 3.70 GPA and am in an accelerated program known as the 3-2 chemical engineering program. This program three years of chemistry courses at SUNY Potsdam which will be completed by the spring of 2024, followed by two years of engineering classes at Clarkson University. I will graduate with a double Bachelor's of Science degree which are Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. While maintaining a high GPA with a full course load, I have also been a 3 season NCAA student athlete through my entire college experience. I run cross country in the fall along with indoor and outdoor track and field. I have been to the SUNYAC championship every year since my freshman year. I have been to the Regional championship every year for cross country and for outdoor track and field the season of 2023. I have set over a dozen school records for track and field at SUNY Potsdam.
