Knowledge in a wide variety of skills acquired from time spent out at sea to being on the road for months at a time. Throughout my life, I've had a constant urge to better myself and the people around me. I have built my skill set to know when to lead and how to communicate with people keeping both parties best interests priority. To the completion of the job at hand as well as the next, to keeping the companies health and best interests in mind, I am a man who strives for success and growth of myself and the people I am surrounded by. Work History

Cheif of Striping Operations

  • Management and hiring of employees.
  • Utilizing my CDL to mobilize equipment from A to B.
  • Acquiring jobs from $1200 to $300k using people skills and customer rapport as well as in field experience.
  • Scheduling all projects while running multiple jobs cohesively in order to achieve the completion of projects by scheduled finish dates.
  • In field training with new hires, quality control and operation of all equipment.
  • Material and equipment ordering.
  • Mechanical maintenance on small engines, trucks and all other equipment including material diaphragm pumps, paint pump systems, valves and hoses.
  • Concluding all jobs with in depth job cost reports using multiple software programs.
  • When not running the asphalt division I work in the concrete division for Valkyrie Construction. Tasks include; structural engineering, setting up forms using ADA specs, finishing and application of all chemicals used for different exposures and finishes.
  • One job that stands above the rest was the completion of over 866 yards of concrete on the Top Golf in Renton WA.

  • Appointed the title of Lead Airport Striping Specialist in S.E Alaska
  • Running crews up to 8 people on the road for up to 3 months at a time.
  • Scheduling lodging and all transportation including ferries from island to island, while completing all jobs in accordance with all FAA standards and specs while working with the weather to complete all projects on time.
  • Maintained knowledge of industry policies and procedures to set up and operate equipment safely.
  • Operations control for; paint trucks, MMA trucks, bituminous button trucks, thermoplastic trucks, 9 gear flatbed support trucks, skid steers, grind trucks, excavators and front loaders and fork lifts.
  • Provided on-the-job and in shop training to newly hired employees.
  • Performed inspections and routine maintenance on all equipment.
  • Set up machines to start production cycles and controlled machine settings.

Commercial Fisherman

  • Within two years Capitan Aaron Woodrow and Capt Tony Byford promoted me from Greenhorn to Deck Boss on two separate boats.
  • Duties included;16-20 hour work days for up to 30 days at a time for several different fisheries including Salmon, Shrimp and Crab.
  • Running and navigating the boat, engineering, mechanics, processing and packaging of products, running gear including the hydraulics, cooking and sales.
  • Other duties included; Everything it takes to run a boat and the crew on board. Engineering, first aid, split second decision making as well as all special skills learned while commercial fishing in Alaska.

Recreational Tour Guide

  • Organizing and teaching outdoor/communication skills in team settings.
  • From white water rafting to building snow igloos, myself and one other Rec. Guide took up to 20 soldiers including their families in the outdoors to show them life outside the base and to promote moral welfare and fitness in Washington, Idaho and Oregon.
  • Managed tour groups by keeping on schedule and quickly handling issues to promote positive outdoor experiences.
