- Review transcripts to verify students are meeting graduation or college entrance requirements.
- Support with general programming of new students, and program changes.

- Guide students and families through college admissions, scholarship applications, financial aid, and career planning.
- Support students with application and acceptance to Stanford University, NYU, Cornell University, Bard College, Penn State University, DePaul University, Boston University, Spelman College, Howard University and more.
- Invite college admissions professionals to come to the school and present to students and families.
- Serve as school liaison and nominator for QuestBridge College Prep and The Posse Foundation.
- Supported QuestBridge applicants resulting in finalist recognition for three consecutive years.
- Coordinate college visits, trade school and job shadowing explorations, admissions presentations, and college fairs.
- Guided students to earn $1M+ in scholarships through targeted advising and application support.
- Achieved a 100% admission rate into a post secondary program for the senior class of 2022-2026.
- Managed the College Now partnership, providing students in grades 10–12 with access to college-level coursework and early college credit opportunities.
Program Development & Innovation:
- Created the Counseling Advisory Curriculum for Grades 9 and 10, establishing the foundation for the school's advisory structure and social-emotional learning framework.
- Developed and implemented the school's annual FAFSA Day initiative, increasing financial aid awareness and application completion.
- Created and publish a bi-weekly Counseling Newsletter to communicate college opportunities, deadlines, scholarships, internships, and counseling resources to students and families.
- Designed and currently developing the Teacher Assistant Fellows Program implementation model for school-wide launch.
Student Advocacy & Equity Leadership:
- Serve as 504 Coordinator, ensuring compliance and implementation of accommodations for students requiring academic supports.
- Advocate for students in Temporary Housing (STH), securing access to activities and connecting families with district-level resources.
- Developed and sustained ENL Regents Support programming in partnership with instructional staff to improve outcomes for multilingual learners.
School Culture and Community Engagement:
- Planned and led annual celebrations promoting cultural awareness, student engagement, and community involvement.
