Driving to Feed Stores / Vets / Ranch needs

Drive stick-shift trucks on-Ranch used for feeding

• Experienced in driving a truck & hookup and drive a Gooseneck trailer
• Loading & driving Animals to Vets
• Live-in care taking Ranch experience with horses / cattle / dogs / cats
  
• Comfortable around all types of horses, including Stallions & other animals
• Able to halter and move horses
• Able to assist in exercising / working horses
• Groom horses including washing
• Daily Feeding of horses / cattle / dogs / cats
• Daily Stall & pen cleaning / maintenance & care for all animals
• Moving horses & cattle in various pens / moving dogs to pens
• Ordering feed and other Ranch services
• Able to recognize health issues with all animals
• Able to drive tractors and hookup & unhook implements

• On a weekly basis evaluate the relative riding and backcountry skill level of national and international guests and take groups of up to 12 guests into remote regions of the Lee Metcalf Wilderness on horseback.
• Exercise good time management and situational awareness in order to ensure all guests have an enjoyable experience and return in a timely and safe manner.
• This job has afforded me the opportunity to develop great people skills and the ability to quickly align parties with differing interests.
• Spending summers in the backcountry has enabled me to quickly assess my surroundings and the general conditions of guests who are out of their normal element.
• Supervised safety procedures during horse rides and interactions to provide safe and enjoyable ranch stays for guests.
• Maintained cleanliness and safety of corrals and horse facilities.

• Cook meals for groups of 12 to 24
• Set up and prepared cooking supplies and workstations during opening and closing to maximize productivity.
• Maintained well-stocked stations with supplies and spices for maximum productivity.
• Created identical dishes numerous times daily with consistent care, attention to detail, and quality.
• Prepared food items in compliance with recipes and portioning control guidelines.
• Oversaw scheduling, inventory management, and supply ordering to maintain fully stocked kitchen.
• Checked for quality, kept track of old and new items and rotated stock to confirm freshness of food and ingredients.
• Prepared multiple orders simultaneously during peak periods with high accuracy rate, maximizing customer satisfaction, and repeat business.

• Would daily plan, direct and facilitate groups as they participated in the ropes course. Taught leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Able to use problem solving skills to understand and fix skills in every aspect. Maintaining the safety, welfare, and mental health of all my participants.
• Certified as a level three instructor for the YLCC.
• This job has taught many things and has given me the ability to teach other people to be proficient in knots, belaying and safety of others.
• By having to supervise up to 75 people at a time from a height or off the group, it has taught me to always keep my head on a swivel and to know read the situation before it happens.
