I am currently pursuing a degree in Media Journalism with a minor in General Business at Appalachian State University, anticipating graduation in Fall 2024. At Weaver Cooke, a prominent construction firm in North Carolina, I held an internship where I served as an Estimator, Project Manager, and Superintendent. I meticulously estimated costs, prepared detailed budgets, managed complex construction projects, and ensured compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This role honed my skills in cost estimation, project management, and site supervision, and developed my problem-solving and communication abilities.

At Kannon’s Clothing in Raleigh, North Carolina, I worked as a Salesman, Buyer, Tailor, and Floor Planner. I successfully managed customer relationships, closed sales, and tailored custom suits, contributing to over $650,000 in retail clothing sales. My role as a Floor Planner involved leading store resets and training new employees, which enhanced my leadership and organizational skills.

My commitment to community involvement and leadership is evident in my various roles, from serving as a Camp Counselor at YMCA Camp Harrison to leading a soccer team in Sweden as Captain. Volunteering at Shepherd’s Table Soup Kitchen and participating in community service projects like Alive in You have fostered my sense of social responsibility and compassion for others.

I am a member of the American Marketing Association at Appalachian State University, where I collaborate with team members to create content and restructure websites for local businesses.
