Personal Statement
I have played Upright Bass for 8 years studying privately with Cielito de Jesus in Long Beach, CA. I have studied the Rabbath method and have primarily focused on orchestral playing with the Orange County Youth Symphony. I was able to participate in the RISE film orchestra a few months ago and found it to be an incredibly rewarding and fascinating experience. I would like to pursue this opportunity with LACFI to deepen my understanding and improve my Bass skills in film scoring performance in preparation for my further music study.
