
Cricket Profile of Sandesh Y Dhuri (From Oman to USA)
Sandesh Dhuri is a former First-Class cricketer who played for Goa in the prestigious Ranji Trophy from 1993 to 1998. In 1997, he was selected to represent the South Zone in both the Duleep and Deodhar Trophy tournaments, playing under the leadership of legends like WV Raman and Robin Singh. In 1998, he moved to Oman, where he represented Khimji Ramdas Club and later played for the Oman National Team in 2006 during their tour to Malaysia under the coaching of former India Test cricketer Mr.Sandeep Patil. With a strong foundation in cricket, Sandesh is an Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Level 3 Accredited Coach, certified by renowned educators including Venkatapathi Raju and Iqbal Sikandar, and has served as an ACC Course Educator in Oman. He is also an ICC Level 1 Coach and a Level 4 Elite High Performance Coach under Sir Gary Kirsten’s CoachED platform. Sandesh was appointed Elite Coach with the Oman A National Team and conducted a High Performance U19 camp in 2023 under the mentorship of Gary Kirsten. As a pioneer in cricket infrastructure development, he co-founded Bosher Olympic Centre in Muscat, offering training facilities for cricket, football, basketball, and hockey. His academy, Bosher Sports Centre (BSC), runs year-round programs with over a dozen cricket pitches across Oman and has hosted international coaching camps with reputed mentors like RK Sharma (Virat Kohli’s coach). Since 2014, Sandesh has led BSC on international cricket tours to the UAE, India, Sri Lanka, England, Australia, and the USA, providing young cricketers global exposure. Notably, in 2023, he led the first-ever Gulf-based academy tour to the USA, playing matches across Dallas and Houston. BSC also integrates advanced technology through PitchVision, offering video analysis, bowling machines, and live match broadcasting to enhance player development. Sandesh’s career reflects a deep commitment to excellence in coaching, infrastructure, and global cricket promotion. Sandesh has also taken his BSC Cricket Academy from Oman to renowned Cricketer Mr.Rahul Dravid to have cricket camps in Bangalore with association with Just Cricket in the year 2018. Similar 10 days camp was conducted in Chennai for BSC students who travelled from Oman with International Coach from South Africa Mr.Dave Whatmore.
Currently, Sandesh Dhuri with his extensive experience is promoting and developing youth cricket in the Dallas, Texas, USA since March 2024. In May 2024, he volunteered during the ICC Men's T20 World Cup matches hosted in Dallas, gaining exposure to international-level operations. As Head Coach of Texas Cricket Club (TCC), he led the team to multiple accolades, including winning the inaugural U17 International Tour Tournament in McKinney in July 2024. Abroad teams like Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica participated in this tournament. Sandesh as coach for Dallas Thunders also achieved the Championship in the 1stEdition of US Junior League Championship in Houston in October 2024 which is approved by USA Cricket. Under his guidance, TCC also finished as runners-up in the Houston Youth Premier League’s Fall Season Classic and actively participated in NTCA and FCCA youth tournaments across U11 to U17 categories. Beyond competitive coaching, Sandesh has taken significant initiatives to promote cricket at the grassroots level, conducting awareness programs at the Princeton Cultural Festival and Greek Valley Elementary School in McKinney. He also hosted the first U14 Thanksgiving Tournament at the newly developed DSC cricket ground, attracting teams from Colorado and Dallas. Holding prestigious certifications, Sandesh is an ACC Level 3 Certified Coach, ICC Level 1 Coach, and a Level 4 Elite High Performance Coach through CoachED, trained by renowned experts like Sir Gary
Kirsten and Venkatapathi Raju. His commitment to nurturing young talent and advancing cricket in Texas reflects his deep-rooted passion and natural leadership in the sport. Cricket is not just a profession for him—it is a lifelong passion, and he consistently strives to promote and develop the game through both online and in-person coaching sessions.
To create awareness and promote cricket in local community of Dallas, Sandesh Dhuri organized a cricket camp at Valley Creek Elementary School in McKinney at their Cultural day. Recently, Coach Sandesh has been honored with the opportunity to serve as the mentor for the Outreach Program at District School in McKinney High School, McKinney, Texas. In this role, Sandesh will guide and inspire young students, helping to promote sports and holistic development through outreach initiatives aligned with his passion for youth empowerment and community engagement.

1. Taking TCC to Denver-Colorado for the Bi-Lateral Cricket Tournament U17. Being International standard league in which teams from Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, Colorado and Dallas participated. Dallas team immerged Champions under the leadership of Coach Sandesh.
2. Bringing teams from abroad like – Trinidad & Tobago, Jamica, and local state teams like Colorado, Atlanta, Houston and host Dallas for International Cricket Tournament conducted in Dallas for 2 weeks in the year 2024 for U17 boys.
3. TCC participating in Houston for HYPL, HYCC in the prestigious tournaments in Houston-USA.
4. Bringing the Championship Trophy to Texas Cricket Club in the 1st Edition of US Junior League conducted in Houston. Sandesh being the Head Coach of the Winners team – Dallas Thunders.
5. South Stallions, 50+ USA Masters League conducted in Atlanta-Georgia under USA Cricket banner, Sandesh played a crucial role as Head Coach of this Senior team and seen the Championship achieved at this level.
6. Root Academy Adelaide – Australia. Conducting 7 days High Performance Cricket Coaching Camp at Dallas Sports Center-USA, utilizing the DSC facilities after constructing the turf pitches and ground along side with The Director of the Root Academy Coach Shaun Siegert.
7. High Performance Camp conducted in Winchester, UK for 7 days with Coach Ian Stuart of Coaching for Greater Understanding (CFGU) with more than 50 students participating.
8. U15 Tour of Kinston-Jamaica in December 2025 as Asst. Coach and leveling the Championship with U15 National Team of Jamica. Carlton Baugh Jr. being the Head Coach of the team and it has been great learning for Sandesh working with Coach Carlton in Jamaica. Coach Carlton has played for West Indies Test Cricket Teams at ICC Tournaments.
Played 1st Class Ranji Trophy Cricket in India from 1993 till 1998 for Goa Cricket Association. In year 1997 was selected for South Zone Duleep and Deodhar Trophy to play against North and Central Zone under the Captaincy of WV.Raman and Robin Singh.
