My private school experience was conducted at Saint Ambrose Catholic School where I was employed as School Counselor K-8 for two years. Realizing I preferred the classroom to the Counselor's office. I accepted employment as a Special Education Resource Teacher and 8th grade reading teacher for the Aldine Independent District until my retirement in 2016.
Prior to working in the field of education I was a member of the United States Army Active Duty, Louisiana National Guard, and Army Reserve Center in Lafayette, Louisiana.
