Working within a classroom with children with Autism. Helping the children with self care such as washing hands and dressing one self to taking shoes off or putting them back on. Teaching children to be independent by putting backpacks away getting lunch pails ready for lunch and putting lunch pails away cleaning up after ones self Teaching calm body gentle hands when dealing with peers or adults. Building a loving and trusting relationship with the children. Helping the children with classroom work such as writing spelling or art work. Trying to make school a fun and rewarding place to be.

Assistant to Landscape Contractor I worked with Clients to supply personal plant selection, Providing information on the do s and dont s of plant care. Along with answering the phone setting appointments and making bank deposits.

Traveled to Clients homes to run trials for children with Autism. Trials consisted of having child follow certain prompts . Documenting said trials and getting child to achieve goals set for them. Helping child with brushing teeth or washing hands Building a rapport with child as well as parents . Worked on transition time from break to back to work by using a timer. Most of all trying to make this a positive experience
