While working this position, I took care of eight clients. I made sure they were bathed, cleaned, and I cooked for them. I also cleaned their homes to ensure a clean living space. I also drove these clients to and from their appointments. I was an A-MAP that gave them their medications whenever they were scheduled to take them. I helped entertain these clients by playing board games, cards, and doing different things with them. Some of the clients were mentally disabled and I took care of them as well.
Being the cleaning supervisor, I had to go and make sure every building on the campus was cleaned to the University standards. I had 10 employees working under me, so I had to make sure they were cleaning correctly and throughly. I helped everybody on my team to clean as well. I started out as a housekeeper and it only took me three months to get promoted to a supervisor.
I worked aside five other employees. We would all work together going around the resort by cleaning cabins and setting up after previous tenants. I would help clean the hotels whenever they needed additional help. I also cleaned and stocked guest rooms by replacing used towels and linens vacuuming floors, making beds, and restocking bathroom items as well as maintaining a clean and comfortable environment in the commercial buildings by vacuuming, cleaning windows, and dusting.
