GOLF, GARDENING AND COOKING

Currently working and enjoying golf outings two or three times a month with friends. Its more of a social event rather than the long on going love/hate relationship I have with my golf ball. Cooking for friends and family is a passion of mine. I love food and I love sharing new dishes with friends and family. Should you catch me at the last minute, I am never without the makings of a charcuterie board and good supermarket wine in a pinch. Pasta is always in my cupboard as is a good cheese to grate over it. I also love baking and my team always looked forward to a special dessert on their birthday. It was the least I could do as we worked with purpose serving those who serve. There is no greater honor. Last is gardening, I recently retired after 42 years and live where there are gardening teams that do all the work. Before moving from Dallas to Las Vegas I grew tomatoes, cucumbers and eggplant and oh how it made me happy to eat from the garden. But now the best I can do is grow herbs from seed on my kitchen window, I am a totally failing though. I have managed to kill the basil and parsley I still have much to learn.
