COF Training Services (COFTS) has been providing programs, services, and workforce opportunities through a person-centered model of care for people who are intellectually or developmentally disabled for more than 55 years.
▪ 1984-1987 – Word Processor – Typed then later Word Processed Lesson Plans for Operations training programs
▪ 1987-1994 – Instructor: Developed lessons plan for General Employee Training and Radiation Worker I; stand up instruction of those lessons; developed and implemented exams and exam banks; development and data input of computer based training (CBT) material on same subjects and proctored beginning classes of the CBT.
▪ 1994-2011 – Maintenance Specialist I – III; duties included Training Coordinator for Mechanical Maintenance (MM) for regulated training on the Mechanical Accredited Training program; liaison between the Training Division and MM; coordinated training on all OSHA required training for Site Equipment for Maintenance Support, Vehicle Maintenance, and Administrative Maintenance groups. 80% of this work included computer programs. Proficient in
Microsoft Word, work well in Excel and Power Point, proficient on 10-key adding machine’s; Coordinated with other work groups as well as the Leadership Team. Was appointed leader on self-assessments; facilitating and coordinating a group to produce results in very short time frame. Accurate documentation of projects was mandatory in order to recover or reproduce for regulating agencies when requested. Due to personnel records, confidentiality was a must.
