Additional Information

I recently relocated to Chicago after 40 years in Madison, WI. It is exciting to be in the vibrant and gritty city of Chicago. I am loving the rich music and arts culture while also beginning to learn about and engage with local groups that have boots on the ground working hard to meet the needs of so many people. Life is messy. In Chicago there seems to be an ability to find the enjoyable parts of life and a willingness to get your hands dirty while linking arms through the tough parts. I'm looking forward to becoming a part of the rich and complex fabric that is Chicago.

I love music, dancing, big city architecture, history, and getting outside to move my body.

Since arriving in Chicago, I have discovered the world of dancing from Contra to Two Steppin to Blues to Cajun. I experience a lift in my soul when looking at the Chicago skyline on Lakeshore Dr. or driving through the heart of it. And what's not to love about riding the El train and seeing the rooftops and back porches of the many different neighborhoods. Finally, I can't get enough of walking or riding the paths that take you down the shores of Lake Michigan. I never realized how alive and vocal Lake Michigan is as the weather rolls in and out again.
