1.Set up adjusted and monitored the Depositor batter pump.
2. Set the Gravity Pump to make sure the height of the cake is correct.
3. Input data in the main control pump to attain the proper weight of the cake.
4.Every hour the weights of the cakes were checked,the temperature of the batter, and the weight of the grease that goes in the pan, and record that information.
5. Kept log sheets and filled out paperwork that checks for a safe work area before start-up.
6. Check the Metal Detector to make sure that it was working properly before start-up.
7. Kept in communication with my Supervisors, Mechanics, and other Machine Operators on the line by way of company issued radio for fast communication.
BACK-UP TEAM LEADER
1. Responsible for the smooth transition in the Make-Up area of the STEP-ON, STEP-OFF process from 1st shift to 2nd shift with out the line stopping.
2.Made sure that every work position was covered, and that every one had everything they needed to have a safe and productive shift.
3.Made sure that everyone in my area got their 1st breaks , and
last breaks, because the line only stopped for lunch.
4.Kept in communication with the other Machine Operators on the line as the baking process went from Make-Up batter depositing, through the Oven to be baked, leaving the oven going through the Cooler, to the Depanner Operator, to the Icing Operator, and finally to the Packaging Operator.
5. At the end of the shift the baking pans had to be stacked, washed and cleaned for the next shift.
6. All machine motors and computer screens had to be covered as not to be damaged by water used to wash down from the Sanitation crew.
7.All log sheets were filed out properly and given to Supervisors and Quality Control to be signed at the end of the shift.
