Affiliations

  • I am a foodi. I love to try different kinds of food from different cultures. I love to sew and make my own clothes. I love to go on day trips and see the world around me. I am always taking someone with me to do this. When family and friends find out I am going somewhere they want to go too. I also love to read. Mostly I read about peoples life and what they had to do to overcome.

Accomplishments

My greatest achievement is when my employers say they can't live without me. And some of them have thought that. They see me as the one taking care of them to the very end of their life. And I want to be there.

Volunteer

I volunteer at my church taking care of babies.  Taking care of people is what I do.  Whether it is kids or the elderly that is where I want to be.  I also co-lead a small group.  We study the bible.  It has taught me a lot about people. To be a better communicator, show compassion for ones that can't defend themselves, and to display kindness and gentleness to those in need.  And finally, to be a better listener.  To actually here what people say and not check out.
