Philosophy
As a Director, my philosophy is to create a positive culture of collaboration, growth and academic excellence that students, staff and the community take pride in being part of. It is essential to provide a viable curriculum and varied resources to students to cultivate active, critical thinkers.
Every student must have an advocate, a true champion to help them foster a love for learning. We must give students of all abilities the opportunities to learn and grow. The key to creating a love for learning are the educators in the classrooms and the administrators leading a campus. Educators must be supported, guided and mentored. Empowering educators to take an active role in their professional growth through continuous and reflective inquiry will allow them to identify their strengths and areas of need.
As a leader, I believe it is essential to build relationships and trust through clear communication. Professionalism and respect are of high importance in highlighting the value of educators and students. I aim to be an active participant in the daily work and happenings of the district and campuses. I intend to motivate other educators by leading with a shared vision, creating a team mentality and encouraging to challenge the status quo.
All avenues lead to enhancing best practices in the classroom and improving student outcomes.
