Foster Parent

After training I became a foster parent to a 13 yr. old diabetic boy with anger issues. I raised Lee to be a respectful and productive person with responsibilities. I taught Lee how to do chores, clean, cook,do laundry,fuel car, mow yard, dig  holes, and other life skills that he would need to know. I also did respite 2 or 3 weelends a month to give other foster parents a break and I would also have 1 weekend off a month where another foster family would take care of Lee for the weekend. I was a foster parent for 4 years and 8 months.
