  • Chardonas Key Lock Service has been servicing Long Island and Metro New York since 1996. We specialize in providing, repairing and installing residential and commercial security hardware, as well as commercial doors and frames. You can label us as an essential business as we were and continue to be available for emergency service 24 hours a day 7 days a week even during the pandemic. Our technicians are dispatched through an afterhours dispatch and emergency call service that can be accessed through any one of our 4 phone lines. Chardonas Key Lock Service is a storefront business located off a main road in a partly residential community strategically placed across the street from Ace Hardware in Island Park NY. The property has plenty of parking and is handicap accessible. Chardonas Locksmith provide parts and service in the shop as well for ease and convenience. Supers and building management companies can get the hardware they need without having to worry about waiting for online delivery. They can simply come in and purchase hardware over the counter, and we can assist with any questions or concerns they might have without them having to wait for technical services to be contacted. Basically, all questions can be answered and parts available to any customer while they are in the shop. We have a showroom stocked with all grades of commercial and residential hardware, safes, and door repair accessories. I started with Chardonas Key Lock Service in October of 2014 with no experience at all in Locksmithing. I was given an opportunity for inventory control and organization, well one thing lead to another and I was able to learn where all the hardware was, how to operate it and what it was used for. I became interested in the ins and outs of the locksmith business and started helping out customers and supers walking in for repairs and other in house services the shop offers such as cutting keys and providing quotes for special order parts. I also started another area of locksmithing the company didn’t have at the time, providing and programming keys for vehicles. I did research and was able to provide this service for local customers. It’s been a little over 5 years and I’ve been able to establish a very solid customer base for Chardonas Locksmith doing these kinds of jobs, which has made the company very successful in this area.
