- Performed diagnostic ultrasound procedures such as; abdominal scans, first trimester obstetric scans, gynecological transabdominal scans with assisted transvaginal scans, thyroid/small parts scans, and vascular studies.
- Assisted sonographers with patient exams by preparing the room, setting up equipment and helping to position patients.
- Observed sonographers during examinations to gain knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and techniques used in performing ultrasound procedures.
- Prepared necessary reports for physicians or other healthcare providers as directed.
- Made independent decisions about appropriate length and scope of examinations based on physician directives and findings during scans.
