Project: NG Tower Floor system design and Optimization for High-Rise Structure

  • Designed complex flat plate system for a NG Tower to accommodate architectural requirements and structural loads.
  • Conducted rigorous deflection checks using both analytical methods and finite element analysis to ensure occupant comfort and safety.
  • Designed the composite floor system design for a NG Tower, emphasizing strength, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Performed detailed hand calculations to verify the capacity of composite beams and girders, considering interaction between steel and concrete components.
  • Designed a post-tensioning drop beams including tendon profiles to address long-term deflection concerns in cantilever slabs.
  • Designed an innovative deep deck system to achieve increased spans and load-carrying capacity while minimizing construction costs.
  • Employed techniques to optimize the deep deck's geometry, resulting in enhanced structural efficiency and reduced material usage.
  • Optimized composite section dimensions and resulting in significant material savings without compromising structural performance.
  • Performed the vibrational analysis evaluating natural frequencies and mode shapes and verified the results with meticulous hand calculations, ensuring accurate assessment of natural frequencies and dynamic response.

Project: PPVC Modular Construction R&D

  • Conducted comprehensive case studies on modular projects, analyzing design, construction, and performance outcomes to identify best practices.
  • Conducted an in-depth case study on a modular housing project to evaluate construction timelines, cost savings, and energy efficiency.
  • Summarized research findings on construction speed, cost efficiency, and environmental impact and delivered a comprehensive presentation comparing different modular construction systems.

Seismic Behavior of Reinforced concrete Frame With Masonry Infill Modeled as Diagonal Strut

• Seismic analysis of RC frame buildings with masonry infill was considered

• In this study masonry infill walls were idealized as Equivalent Diagonal Strut Model in the software SAP2000.

• Nonlinear elastic behavior of masonry infill is considered & all the building models are analyzed as per the Seismic provision of IS 1893-2016.

• The parameters such as Base Shear, Distribution of Base Shear to Floor Levels, Story Drift, Fundamental Time Period, Member Forces, and Member Displacements have been studied using Non-Linear Elastic analysis for numerous buildings.
