Summary

Teacher - Trained Business educator, who holds a master’s in teaching and Learning, with a focus on Action Research on Content Area Reading in Economics. Demonstrates proficiency in teaching Economics to grades 10 and 11 students. Awarded as “Teacher of excellence” for outstanding performance in CSEC results for Economics. (Grade 11 students). Currently teaching First grade Reading, Math, Science and Social Studies in the United States on a Cultural Exchange teaching program. Presently, more than half the class of 19 students are above grade level in mathematics at the state level from the second State Testing. Previously, I had the opportunity to teach Forth grade Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Reading in the United States. Also, I have had over 10 years’ experience teaching Economics at the Advanced level where my passing rate ranges between 67%-100% and 55% the lowest during Covid 19.
