- In 2024 Sanjay continued his professional Detailing career by joining the MBSO's (Mercedes-Benz of South Orlando) team as a professional detailer. Sanjay's day to day job included the following: 1. Vacuum, wash and apply tire shine to sold units (old and new) 2. Buff / Wet-Sand panels as needed to remove / blend scratches and scuffs 3. Deodorize old units and or trade-ins that has cigarette smells or other unwanted odors. 4. Apply Crystal Fusion, Tire Guard, and EPP Polysteel products purchased by customers on sold units. Crystal Fusion protects windshield, Tire Guard protects wheels and EPP Polysteel protects interior surfaces and exterior paint. 5. Complete Full Details to used units and or trade-ins as needed for lot, ready for purchase. Full details includes: Fully cleaning interior + exterior, Buff exterior paint as needed, deodorize as needed, shampoo carpets as needed. Claybar exterior paint as needed to produce a smooth finish. 6. Detail and clean cars approved by Mercedes Manager for Showroom Floor. 7. White Glove Detail exterior + Interior Customer cars from Service Department including but not limited to: Buffing, claybar and applying EPP Polysteel + Crystal Fusion + Tire Guard.
- In 2025 Mercedes-Benz of South Orlando Detail Department went to a Third-Party Company and Sanjay was hired directly by Ocean Detailing USA. From 2025 to present day, Sanjay has continued to improve and show his knowledge of car detailing thru various different applications with chemicals and products and teaching new members process & procedures at Mercedes-Benz. During this time, Sanjay has worked on various cars ranging from $1000 to $1.2M, making sure the final product was Mercedes -Benz approved and customers were happy. His knowledge of day to day operations at the car dealership helped the team succeed, teaching members how to buff, wet-sand, claybar or using various chemicals. Sanjay's knowledge and passion has made Mercedes-Benz trust him with detailing high end luxury cars from G-Wagons, Maybachs, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Range Roves, Bentley, Porsche and many many more models.

- In 2021 to 2024, Sanjay joined the Volvo Car Store in Winter Park FL to gain knowledge and experience in the Professional Car Detailing Field. Sanjay detailed sold units for dealership as well as detailed customer cars and sometimes pickup/ deliver cars to customer's houses. Sanjay has learned how to properly buff, wet-sand, and restore car paint and headlights while working at the Volvo Store. Sanjay along with his team of detailers managed the car entire car lot, checking in new inventory from trucks, making sure the lot is secured at closing time and making sure showroom cars are clean and replaced once sold.

- In 2015 Sanjay Basant was chosen to be part of the OCPS Project Management Team located at Magic Way. He is a Project Manager Assistant, assisting the East and Southeast Client Liaison along with a Project Manager within this team. He manages construction projects with various scopes for different schools ranging from Elementary to high and tech schools in those specific areas. Sanjay is currently still working at OCPS and has gained various knowledge as a Project Manager. Sanjay has managed projects ranging in cost from little as $100 to $200,000. In 2018 Sanjay took the opportunity to gain further knowledge in the Digital Curriculum field at OCPS as a Project Manager. He managed various vendors to upgrade FF&E equipment throughout the district, preparing the various campuses for their 1 to 1 transition. With previous cohorts being upgraded, Sanjay is able to confirm if the new Cohorts will have enough in their budget meet the desired upgrades in a scheduled timeframe. In 2019 Sanjay accepted the opportunity to manage a $7.6M State Grant Security project for 85 schools throughout the district of OCPS. He manages various vendors and scopes to better enhance the safety and security of students & staff located at the schools. With his experience and knowledge of the project, he is overseeing budget and various Project Assistants to complete this new Security State Grant before the deadline. From 2020 -2021 Sanjay has continued to show eagerness and willingness to learn as he was given the opportunity to manage another Security Grant Year 2 project. Sanjay has managed projects ranging in cost from $10,000 to $7,600,000.
- Sanjay is responsible for training newly hired Junior Estimators in the job functions and oversees their work progress. In his time at CMI, Sanjay has displayed initiative, eagerness and willingness to learn - these traits secured him a full-time position after his high school graduation.

- Sanjay joined CMI in 2013 as an intern and joined the staff as a full time employee in 2014 after graduating. He is currently enrolled in the 4-Year CM Program at Seminole State College. His duties at CMI include assisting senior estimators with various estimating tasks, such as quantity take-offs of the major architectural, civil & structural elements of a project; pricing research; combining quantity take-offs of all disciplines into the Success estimating software; updating our historical cost database. Sanjay has taken the initiative and has learnt On Screen Takeoff to ease his QTO process. In addition to those duties, Sanjay also closely follows CMI’s rules and procedures for quality control and checks and balances during the preparation of all estimates.
