Responsible for the continuous, reliable operation of mission-critical facilities, ensuring all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems function without interruption. This includes high-availability systems such as uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), generators, HVAC for climate-sensitive environments, switchgear, chillers, and emergency systems.

Keys Responsibilities;

• Monitor, operate, and adjust building systems to maintain optimal performance, comfort, and energy efficiency.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment.
• Respond to service requests, emergencies, and system alarms promptly.
• Perform inspections, testing, and documentation of building systems in compliance with codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and management to support capital projects and system upgrades.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records of equipment performance and maintenance activities.
• Follow safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental regulations.

• Perform daily rounds and inspections on all HVAC equipment.
• Assist Engineers with mechanical maintenance and repairs.
• Replace lighting ballasts, fixtures and lights.
• Replace outlets, light switches, contactors, fuses and other various electrical components.
• Remove chiller heads and punch tubes.
• Trouble shoot AC and AC Units, installing gauges, adding refrigerant.
• Cleaning pump, AC Units, CHW and CW strainers.
• Various carpentry work for Engineering spaces.
• Electrical and plumbing soldering, various plumbing, cutting and threading pipes, designing and installing drains for hot water relief valves.
• Responsible for documenting all work performed.
• Responsible for Work Order Tickets assigned.
• Interaction with tenants and vendors explaining systems and assisting with access.
• Effectively prioritized workload to meet deadlines consistently, contributing to the successful completion of numerous engineering projects.

• Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, snow removal, etc.)
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Make adjustment and minor repairs
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Team player with the rest of the staff
• Follow all health and safety regulations
