Description:

GPP is Global Pay Plus in Australia Bank. "GPP" likely refers to Global Pay Plus, a global payments platform, or potentially NAB Connect, a comprehensive online banking solution for businesses.

Responsibilities:

Creation of Oracle databases on Linux and AIX servers using the DBCA technique or by a standard script, based on the requirements of the applications.

Backup and recovery of the database using the RMAN utility.

Applying Oracle, RU, and security patches on a quarterly basis.

· RMAN backup issues and recovered the databases from their previous backups as per the requirements.

· Knowledge on OEM console for Database Management and Monitoring.

· Perform data replication, transformation and delivery of database transactions using Golden gate replication tool.

· Tuning of application with AWR Reports, tkprof, explain plan, Auto trace, stats pack and Oracle Enterprise Manager.

· Manual failover for scheduled maintenance & configured automatic failover using DG broker for high Availability.

· Resolving Lag in Data Guard.

· Database migration from 10g to 12c & 11g to 12c release 1databases.

· Solving OGG issues.

Cloning and refreshing databases from production to QA for development and testing purposes.

Analyzing the tables and indexes on performance base regularly.

Database upgrades done from 12.2.0.1 to 19.3 with DBUA

Description:

Pfizer Inc., which is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies, is the client, with over 6,500 databases for which 365/24/7 support is provided by performing all DBA-related tasks.

The project is to work independently within a team on all the DBA-related tasks, such as user creations, DB monitoring, alerts, backups and restores, DB refreshes and copies, scripting, and resolving issues and outages for different environments (development, test, UAT, training, validation, integration, and production).

Responsibilities:

· Trouble shooting and providing support for the production environment.

· User management

Agent installation, decommissioning, monitoring targets, and generating alerts using EM13c.

Handling and monitoring AWS RDS using EM13c.

OMS, EM agents patching in EM13c.

· Software installations and database creations.

· Refreshes of database objects across environments.

· Database backup and recovery using RMAN

Database cloning using RMAN disk backups and tape backups.

· Creating and rebuilding the Standby database.
