· Part of leadership team responsible for generative AI program in Amazon. Currently leading an organization of 100+ engineers, scientist and analyst across USA, Europe and India.
· Developed and launched state of the art web crawling, processing and storing engine for Amazon capable of handling entire internet thereby powering Amazon's large language model. Systems led by me are the backbone for all LLM initiatives across Amazon.
· Handled yearly operating budget of $275 million for web processing. In span of of 2 years, reduced operating costs for web crawler and storage systems by 71% and 78% respectively through optimization and automation saving $150 million yearly.
· Transformed legacy web crawler for Amazon managing only 5K TPS into state-of-the-art system operating at 400K TPS bridging gap to competition by 48% and thereby being top 2 crawler in the world.
· Lead creation of first self-service web scale storage engine for Amazon capable of holding exabytes of data. Onboarded 17 teams as customers across Alexa, AWS, and Amazon Retail to the storage engine.
· Led delivery of Alexa Hosted Skills program, reducing Alexa skill publishing funnel dropout from 85% to 36%. Acquired 100K+ MAUs and 10K+ live skills, paving path to become an AWS service.
· Initiated and delivered EventBridge hybrid cloud solution using API integration. Widely adopted by 10K+ weekly active AWS customers sending 11B+ events per week.
· Promoted 70+ engineers to next level and oversaw talent growth of 15+ direct manager reports. Maintained remarkably low attrition rates (< 10%) through mentorship and career development focus.
