Hobbies and Interests

  • I practice 'Saadhaka,' which is the art of revising the Carnatic Classical music lessons that I learned for 12 years, twice a week. This is done to preserve the vocal cords well-tuned and clear-pitched in attaining different note variations.
  • I've been regularly practicing 'Pranayama,' which is the Yogic meditation of breathing, and 'Sooryanamaskara,' which is a sequence of twelve Yoga poses/Asana. I've been doing four sets of Sooryanamaskara every day for the past seven years. These two disciplines have greatly helped me in balancing my energy and conditioning my body and mind.
  • I also like cooking a variety of cuisines, however my South Indian dishes always get high praise.
  • In my spare time, I like playing Trivia and frequently set up Trivia fun matches to compete against my husband.
  • I also enjoy watching thriller and 'mafia' movies, as well as wildlife documentaries.
