  • In June 2021, while working in support of critical infrastructure protection, three colleagues and I witnessed an individual park their vehicle near our site. I witnessed the vehicle park and then I saw a fire start. I radioed to the colleague nearest to the location and told them that I saw fire inside the vehicle. Unable to gain access, I responded and managed to enter the burning vehicle, reach through to the driver door, and pulled a young lady out of her burning vehicle.

  • In October 2021, Allied Universal Security completed purchase of G4S Secure Solutions USA, and I stayed on the public utility contract through the merger. I have responded to dozens of severe fire weather related emergencies, and provided manned security services to over one hundred different critical infrastructure sites throughout California.

  • March 2020 began new COVID restrictions, and thus, I was given newer updated health and safety training. July 2020 began the biggest California fire season, and I was forward deployed to the CZU, LNU, SCU complex fires, Glass Fire, Caldor Fire, and Creek Fire. My duties included perimeter patrol, camera monitoring, access control, and customer service

  • Unarmed security professional with G4S Secure Solutions USA. In March of 2017, Securitas USA lost their contract with the utility company, and asked me to remain on the contract with G4S. I accepted an offer of two dollar raise, and full time shift duty at utility customer service offices.

  • In 2019, I requested a change of post, and I was certified with current NERC-CIP, Substation safety, ISN contractor training, and I was placed at a large critical infrastructure facility. In October of 2019, I was given a new role as a “Deployment Security Professional” and I was retrained in a more public facing customer service environment, and sent to a training course for Customer Resource Centers, to be deployed for emergency weather related situations.
