I am a committed junior at Frisco High School with a great passion for a career in the medical field. I have built a good foundation in health care concepts and scientific principles through coursework in Health Science and Anatomy & Physiology. My volunteer work with Feed My Starving Children has deepened my appreciation for service and global health while fostering skills such as teamwork and empathy. I am very excited to get hands-on experience with research and to see how exactly most of the topics I studied would look in reality. The STARS program is a great opportunity to learn more about science and develop skills that will support me in the future. I am excited to bring my curiosity, dedication, and commitment to learning to this program.
I have taken Medical Terminology in 9th grade and I took Anatomy and Physiology in 10th grade. I am currently taking Health Science, and over the summer between 10th and 11th grade I took a medical summer camp at NSLC..
