• Hydrogen Value Modeling Leader, GE Vernova, 07/2023 - Present, The Hydrogen commercialization team was formed to address the new market needs in line with the adoption of hydrogen as a fuel in power and process industries. The role involves conception and developing an RE integrated green hydrogen model. The various uses cases were simulated and validated with discussion with customers and. The schematics, concepts and output reports serve as talking points for engaging interactions with customers from US, Europe, Australia, India etc.
• Senior Aero Plant Operations leader, GE Gas Power, 06/2021 - 07/2023, This role had the sole discretionary authority over Aero tendering operations which enables the Aero Business Sales plan (~1.6B$). The cross functional collaboration includes teams like Proposal management, Plant development, costing, Scheduling and partnering and had significant impact on overall growth of GE Gas Power by exercising budgetary authority over proposals. The operations’ leader’s core job also includes estimating, tracking and reporting annual budget for the Aero tendering team (~1.9MM$).
• Accelerated Leadership Program (XLP), GE Gas Power, 07/2018 - 06/2021, XLP is a GE companywide leadership development program for identifying, coaching and developing pipeline of future business leaders. The successful candidates, chosen through a rigorous interview process, work on business-critical 1 year assignments under the guidance of the senior leadership of GE power.
• Aero Product Champion (XLP- Year 2), GE Gas Power, 07/2019 - 06/2021, This assignment involves market analysis and positioning the aeroderivative gas turbines for thermal power projects with clear value proposition for global customers to enable them to select clean, efficient, reliable and safe power generation technologies.
• MYA portfolio health analysis leader (XLP- Year 1), GE Gas Power, 07/2018 - 07/2019, This role in the Gas power services team comprised of analyzing and quantifying the financial health of GE’s assets under MYA (Multi Year Agreements). Extensive economic and dispatch-based models were built, the contracts analyzed for future risk attributes and recommendations provided to GE leadership for ‘de-stressing’ the MYA portfolio health business. This assignment laid the foundation for the MYA team.
• Principal Engineer, GE Energy Consulting, Bangalore, 10/2016 - 06/2018, As a member of Energy Consulting team, my main role was to support regional power services marketing team and leverage my tariff modeling, power economics and technical skills to develop customer value methods. These models were utilized for pricing recommendations for GE product/Service offerings by the engineering/commercial teams to generate product cost out targets, convincing value propositions or payback analysis.
• Senior Engineer, GE Energy Consulting, Bangalore, 08/2014 - 10/2016, Key projects include: Integrating RE modelling with power sector planning for India. In this external study funded by Shakti foundation, analyzed the operational and reliability impact of the large-scale integration of RE in the Indian power grid using GE MAPS.
• Lead Engineer, GE Power, Bangalore Engineering Centre, 10/2011 - 08/2014, Key projects include: Degradation Based Maintenance(DBM): Completed life cycle value analysis of the U.S. 7F fleet to determine which sites would benefit most from performance degradation improvements.
