Summary

I am a professional and skilled healthcare provider offering expertise developed over 20 years. I believe patient centered care is the most effective approach for healing. I practice a holistic approach with my patients by supporting them physically, and emotionally. Spending a few minutes to talk to someone about their life, or listen to their worries, makes a big difference to them, especially for the people who have no visitors.

I excell in a fast paced environment, I actually love it. My patients have clean rooms and fresh sheets by the time I clock out. I offer everyone help washing up, even if they are able to do it themselves, because everybody feels better after freshening up.

I am empathetic, and have excellent communication skills. I work well with challenging patients and family members. I know that no one is at their best when they are sick, and being in the hospital brings stress and fear into peoples lives, often when they are not expecting it. With this in mind, I can calmly listen to my patients concerns, acknowledge their feelings, and de-escalate the situation.

I truly enjoy being a PCT. I excell at all aspects of the job, and I give it my all every day. I work well with others and would be a great asset to your floor. I took some time off to help my daughter through a difficult pregnancy and I look forward to returning to work.

I hope to hear from you soon.
