  • Neonatal Kitten Team, Spring 2022 – Present, Aid in the care of orphaned neonatal kittens brought into K-State Veterinary Hospital. Provide per diem overnight care, keep kitten records, monitor weight, note changes in attitude or behavior, perform feedings, administer medications as needed, stimulate or monitor urination and defecation, and provide socialization until kittens have been adopted.

  • This is How We Role, Fall 2021 - Spring 2023, As a part of a group of veterinary and graduate students, we would visit the Boy’s and Girl’s club a few times each semester. We would utilize games and activities to encourage an interest in STEM, particularly veterinary medicine, in kids from all cultures and backgrounds.
