I am the youngest of three children in a bi-cultural family. My mother is from Puerto Rico, where I get my Spanish language skills from. I visit the island often to see my extended family. I grew up playing softball and earned a scholarship to play at Cushing Academy, a boarding high school in Ashburham, MA. After graduating, I decided not to continue playing sports in college, as I wanted to focus on my academics and path towards pharmacy school.
I had developed an interest in pharmacy during high school following exposure to the field from friends and family. Functional and natural pharmacy are areas of the field in which I hope to contribute and form a future from. My goal is to assist in women's hormonal health, finding natural, cruelty free, and safe ways for women to optimize their health and hormonal balances.
I am currently attending the University of Massachusetts Lowell while working part time. I continue to hold a passion and interest in the field of pharmacy while gaining valuable experience in time management and social skills at work.
