Relevant Experience

As the Legal Secretary, in the District Attorney's Office, I was responsible for entering all new cases as they came in. I had to scan through all of the information presented to ensure that there were no errors before sending the cases to the assigned Attorney. I also had to use various programs to file criminal histories and check through the histories to verify that the statute did not need to be changed if previous charges were missed. I was the point of contact for all records requests, whether paper discovery or digital. While working in this position I acquired the ability to work as a team player and also work independently, with little to no direction, as needed.
