Professional Background
I am a fully credentialed and licensed Radiologic Technologist (R) (ARRT) with experience providing compassionate care in a hospital environment. I have always loved working in healthcare. It has allowed me to challenge myself, learn and grow as a person. I started working in a doctor's office straight out of high school. While attending college, I worked as float staff for a local hospital and gained experience in several different specialties. I currently have 14 years experience working in the medical field in various areas including electrophysiology, cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, pediatrics, family care, urology and pain management. I have experience with patient records, data entry, coding, billing, insurance authorizations and various other duties. The past 7 years I have been working in the Cath Lab where I work closely with both the cardiologists and vascular surgeons as an interventional radiologic scrub tech. This is something I have been very passionate about and has been extremely rewarding for me. I am confident with my ability to perform my job to the best of my abilities in a timely manner.
