I am a disciplined university student pursuing a degree in biology in hopes to make a positive impact on the environment and the biodiversity it inhabits. I have been passionate about animals and the environment from a very young age and have participated in multiple philanthropies which strive to benefit the environment, such as Inherit the Earth. I have also taken a variety of biology courses in high school and college, along with ecology, which will help me flourish in the work I accomplish in an internship in a biological and ecological internship or job.

I have been passionate about physical activity since I was a young child as it was a way to release the gobs of pent up energy I had at that age. I partook in a variety of sports, but dedicated the majority of my time to gymnastics, in which I competed in as part of a team. Along with gymnastics, I would do crossfit during the weekends after my dad introduced me to it. In middle and high school, I joined and competed on the track and cross country teams as a long distance runner. Although I no longer participate in competitive sports, I work out for two hours each day, six days a week and have reaped the benefits of consistent exercise, such as boosted energy levels, improved mood, focus and sleep quality, and a reduced risk of developing chronic diseases and other ailments. My exercise routine has also improved my time management skills as I have had to balance my time between workouts, meal preparation, class, rigorous coursework, studying for tests, sorority meetings and philanthropic events, and a social life. I apply the discipline I've learned to every other aspect in my life, such as school and work.
