Each year, Warren Buffet's committee reviews hundreds of teacher  nominations, and selects the top 15 educators in the Omaha Public School System for this award. The award included a $10,000 cash prize, a silver Buffet coin, and $500 in McDonald's certificates.

Interests

I am a life-long singer I sang with the Omaha Symphonic Chorus for 10 years, and for the auditioned Opera Omaha chorus for 15 years I continue to sing for my church and for weddings and funerals


I am an avid gardener and am happiest with my hands in the dirt all summer I enjoy painting, knitting, needlepoint, yoga, and walking
