Works with the afterschool kids

Maintains positive relations with children, parents, and other staff

Attends and participates in family nights, program activities, staff meetings, and staff trainings

Ensures youth are properly signed in and signed out (Procare)

Monitored classroom to verify safe and secure environment.

Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor

• Directly supervises a group of children (15 kids to 1 counselor)
• Plans and implements program activities
• Facilitates both formal and informal play in an outdoor environment
• Adheres to program standards including safety and cleanliness standards
• Assist in maintaining accurate program records including, but not limited to, incident reports and daily attendance
• Maintains positive relations with children, parents, and other staff
• Attends and participates in family nights, program activities, staff meetings, and staff trainings
• Ensures youth are properly signed in and signed out, ensures only authorized adults are allowed in the facility, etc
• Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor
