After working as a Safety Consultant for 10 years, I am in the process of retraining as an Automotive technician after falling in love with working on a project car. Many of the problem solving skills required in automotive diagnostics and repair are similar the the creative problem solving used on sets. The OSHA safety training I have acquired also translates easily to a shop environment, where a focus on is essential.
